Wheel lacing and truing

We lace and true wheels for motorcycles, bicycles, e-bikes and kick scooters. Bring the rim in person or send it to us.

What we do

Pick the option that matches the parts you have. Each one says what to send us.

1Lacing on your hub

We supply the rim and spokes, the hub is yours. Our most common job for standard motorcycle wheels.

2Build from your parts, vintage bikes

You supply all of the rim, spokes and hub, or just some of them. We can source the rest, depending on the job and how complex it is. Then we lace and true the wheel.

Send us

The parts you have (rim, spokes, hub) and the old wheel without its tyre. We use the old wheel as the pattern for the new one.

3Complete wheel from us

We supply the rim, hub and spokes.

Send us

Nothing. Just call us. If you want the wheel built to a pattern, send us the pattern wheel without its tyre.

Excel rims

Whenever we supply the rim, it comes from the leading Japanese maker Excel. You’ll find Excel rims in our e-shop. You can also buy just the rim and spokes from us and lace the wheel yourself.

Labour price. Spokes and nipples are charged separately if we supply them.

These are starting prices. The final price can vary with how complex the job is, and we agree the exact amount with you.

How it works

  1. Call or write

    Tell us whether it is a front or rear wheel, what size it is, and whether you have a rim and spokes.

  2. We agree materials and timing

    We pick the rim and spokes. You can use your own or ours.

  3. Hand over the rim

    Bring it in person after a phone call, or send it to us.

  4. We lace and true it

    Collect the finished wheel, or we send it back to you.

Delivery time is individual and depends on the specific order and its specification. For non-standard parts that are not normally in stock, delivery can take up to 2–3 months.
